Pushpa 2: The Rule* is an upcoming Telugu-language action drama film, written and directed by Sukumar under his banner, Sukumar Writings. The film is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar through Mythri Movie Makers. Allu Arjun stars in the titular role, alongside an ensemble cast featuring Fahadh Faasil, Rashmika Mandanna, Dhananjaya, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Rao Ramesh, Ajay, Sunil, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Shanmukh, and Ajay Ghosh, all reprising their roles from the previous film.
This film is the second installment in the *Pushpa* series and a sequel to *Pushpa: The Rise*. Initially, 10% of the film's footage was shot back-to-back with the original, but Sukumar later decided to revise the story. As a result, principal photography began in October 2022. With a budget of ₹500 crore, *Pushpa 2* is among the most expensive Indian films ever made.
